Review on Instapark ADF Series GX990T: Solar Powered Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with 4 Optical Sensors - Adjustable Shade Range #5 - #13 Bluish Devil by Brian Potter

Very good value for money with 4 sensors

I would like to stock more than one welding helmet. The first thing IMO needs is four sensors. I mainly weld TIG, which is much more sensitive due to the low starting current compared to auto darkening. Most welding helmets with four sensors cost over $125. I saw this one for under 90's and thought I'd take a chance. I'm very glad I did this. He is very responsive. I like the idea that the controls are on the outside of the helmet. It also has a good grinding mode. I don't have to take it off all the time to make a change. I highly recommended this one. It has a very responsive sensitivity and a large field of view. Probably one of the best helmets in the price range with 4 sensors. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • 4 arc sensor solar powered welding helmet with auto blackout filter and the largest field of view in its class at 3.94" x 3.86"
Cons
  • Wrinkled
