Unsafe design, use locking pin
Other brands. I feel like there is a lack of security features if the lock fails or is not set properly. There is no support and without a lock the shaft can fall out and you lose the trailer! In the end I settled on an anti rattle clutch locking pin because if the lock fails you still have a set screw that is firmly secured and cannot come out even if the lock fails. Also, if the pin works by itself, the latch will not allow the pin to fall out of the clutch.
