This and most other products from China are advertised as "universal" but are not. In order to hold the engine switch on the side stand, a precisely fitting hole for the hooked pawl must be drilled on the rotary switch. It's annoying. Many will be tempted not to worry, just turn off the switch. But you definitely shouldn't drive down the road without this switch - people have died if you turn off the switch, forgot the side stand was down, drive off, and on the first left turn it gets stuck and they fall badly . I will be retrofitting but at the end of the day OEM is best for this particular application.
