The description says it is a 4 pin splitter. Even though it connects to a 4-pin connector on the motherboard, only 1 of the 4 split lines has 4 pins. There is no pin in position #3 in the remaining 3 rows. It is therefore not possible to connect more than 1 fan to this device. If there were contacts in positions 1, 2, 3, you could at least connect other fans. The reason I bought this is so I can connect my two fans to a single USB port. on both items in the package was the same. If this configuration is for design, the description is VERY misleading.
