I applied some Lowes tape which failed miserably. I even reattached them with special glue, but they never stuck to the floor. So I decided to try them out. Be sure to follow the directions on the packaging, clean your shower floor thoroughly and use rubbing alcohol to ensure the surface is completely clean. This is the hardest part, but also the most important. I think these strips will work very well. They are transparent, very thin and the glue sticks very well to the floor. The surface of the strip has a good non-slip design. I left about 3/4 inch between each strip and it worked really well. As the strips are clear they are not noticeable but have proved to be a good non-slip surface and don't feel like you are standing on sandpaper. I've only had them for a few days but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.
