I bought two pairs of these pants, one in army green and the other in black, I ordered both models. I went up a size and have XL on both, they fit the same and I love how they look on me. For the record, I'm 5ft 6in, about 160lbs and have a decent curve in my hips. The pants look the same on me as in the pictures and are comfortable to wear. The only complaint is that they tend to flatten your butt a bit, but other than that they're good pants for work or walking around town. They have a decent amount of elastic, but for curvy women I'd recommend going up a size so you don't feel like they're squeezing you unfavorably when you pull on the strap to tighten it.
