When purchasing, I read reviews from people who said they were disappointed because the clear cover they bought didn't match their chrome or other license plate frame. This cover will not work with other plate frames and looks correct. It's 2-3 times thicker than the clear cover I removed with large screw holes that look like racks. Only edges and screw holes make contact with the panel. Time will be the real test. How long do they stay clean? Again, only the edges and screw holes touch the panel. It's the same size as a plate. The tablet does not fall into the lid. Installed on a 2016 RAM 1500.
