I think the installation process was explained well in the instructions but I would recommend paying close attention to where there is enough space to hide the small mounting box near the driver's side turn signal if you Remove your disguise. I didn't and was worried about reattaching the fairing tightly. The hardest part for me was routing the cable to the battery to avoid double discharge. In general I recommend the product.
