For those who, like me, could not find any information about my problem on the Internet. This worked perfectly to fit a Wrx sedan exhaust to my '09 Forester X. I bought a stainless steel Wrx exhaust and it fitted my '09 Forester X perfectly. Used this part to get the factory o-ring to work with the 3" stainless steel exhaust. Definitely recommend for people who are tired of having their exhaust replaced at the parts store every few years and want a stainless steel finish. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't use OEM style spring bolts, which is much better. I think at some point I'll have to retighten the screws.
