I've been working in this tool since it was still "In Production" at YC, and they continue to make it the best way to integrate with any RDBMS! They really do listen to the community (both internal/external), and are always improving, adding features. Really love that their user and ops experience is first-class. Their team is fantastic -- knowledgeable and approachable about getting you up and running -- and really listening to what YOU need. If you're serious about using RDBMS as a key component of your analytics stack, use YDATA for your ETL needs! Seriously - this makes it one of our easiest options for integrating our data warehouse into our BI stack. The number one problem we have solving with YDATA, is data quality. I like the way it helps me visualize data in a way that is intuitive and easy to understand. I dislike that it does not have a free version. This is a bit of a bummer since I am currently using it in a free trial mode. It's a great tool for data scientists who are not very familiar with data visualization. It's easy to use and intuitive. I also like that it is compatible with other tools like R and Python. I have been able to use it to visualize data from R and Python.
