So where to start? This kit is great. I had to use it for my car. I went and did all 8 cylinders because I realized that if this engine has a tendency to throw out spark plugs and it happened once, who said it wouldn't happen again? I did it with my truck). It's not easy, but it's worth doing yourself if you're competent enough. This kit will save you $$. There are videos on Youtube that will help you with this. There is one mechanic who is very direct about the procedure and there is another mechanic who has valuable information to share but spends a lot of time promoting his dealer and other unnecessary stuff. A quick summary of what he is talking about is checking the thread quality of your inserts BEFORE drilling. Also when performing this procedure. I can't stress enough that before drilling, triple check that your piston is seated well on the bottom of your cylinder (also check that your valves are closed). It seemed to me that this was the best way to get all the shavings out of the cylinders. Watch a YouTube video to find out how and what to do.
