Even I could do it in Tools & Equipment

When the second spark plug on my F250 blew, I decided to try installing the bushings myself. This product came highly recommended by Ron Williams, a Youtube mechanic whose video provides a detailed description of the process including the do's and don'ts. The instructions that came with the kit were basic and did not inspire confidence that they would be able to complete the task. With everything I needed, it took me less than an hour. Get it right and you only have to do it once!

Our Ford Triton 6.8 V10 blew out the number 3 spark plug after the engine had only run 70,000 miles. After some research we determined that the best system for repairing the spark plug hole with the engine still in our E-450 RV was the Cal-Van Tools 38900 system. We attempted to have a local mechanic fix it using a Dorman spark plug 42025. Thread repair kit, against our better judgment, but we tried to stay on schedule. Save some money with this kit and do it yourself.

So where to start? This kit is great. I had to use it for my car. I went and did all 8 cylinders because I realized that if this engine has a tendency to throw out spark plugs and it happened once, who said it wouldn't happen again? I did it with my truck). This is a kit for use with 2V Triton.

This is a kit to use on a Triton 2V engine if your chains are going bad due to a blown spark plug. I was in an accident about 20 miles from home, I couldn't screw in a new plug (I keep spares in my truck) so I knew the threads were fried. I shut off the injector and hobbled home and back on 7 cylinders. Simply a lifesaver!

Wow! How many words are limited here? A previously wound spark plug burned out in my 2010 F150 4.6. And of course it's a construction truck - I don't have time for it to fail! No truck, no income! I considered replacing the head with a rebuild, but barely succeeded, and then I thought of a remanufactured or new motor in a box (it has 208,000 miles). PSA on the overall quality of this kit

Well where do I start. IM "style" air hose plug with external thread. The connector that comes with it is so irregularly shaped that it doesn't fit my compressor's 3/8 female IM jack. I've attached a picture of a good IM connector alongside so you can see the difference. An additional problem is that the Calvan kit connector threads are also non-standard. So you can't just go to the big store to buy another 3/8 plug. Rather than threading in something like 5/16, I had to go to a hardware store…
