Review on Bilstein 24 014694 Monotube Shock Absorber by John Holliday
Typical Bilstein quality that I'm used to.
These shocks are now fitted to my 1991 4runner and have a significantly improved ride over the old and leaky Sensatrac shocks that have come loose. I would go with another shock brand that's more urban oriented (softer handling), but since my 4runner will be doing off-road more often, Bilsteins would be a great shock replacement for the job. Installation was fairly easy, but you will need to remove the rear tires and jack up the frame so you can lower the axle far enough for installation.
