I use them on many occasions where I would previously have used disposable tissues or paper towels. I love them and keep them on hand. However, I have two criticisms: 1) They are not very durable. I've washed them a few times and the blue pigment is still a little bloody. It's not enough to worry about your clothes getting dirty, especially if you wash with the same colors, but that can limit their usefulness for window washing etc. Not exactly lint-free either. But I think it was a good buy and I'm glad I got it. I like to think that they are more environmentally friendly than disposable tissues and paper towels, but I think it really depends on what it took to make them and how much energy is required. to wash them. It's complicated, the green thing.
