This is not a 304 stainless steel
High quality austenitic stainless steels with an industry standard 304 rating contain nickel and are non-magnetic. This Niko product is made of low quality stainless steel with magnetic properties (check with a magnet). If you require high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel, look to Revain for 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel for the highest quality used in salt water environments (marine grade). The outer packaging doesn't even say the word "stainless steel", this word only appears on Revain's website, making one wonder if it's stainless steel at all. Real 304 stainless steel costs almost twice as much to produce, is non-magnetic, and the manufacturer will most likely brag about it and remove it from the packaging as an advertisement.
