I build a new computer about every 5 years and every time it's like going back to school. I bought this mainly because of the performance, the gold rating and mainly because of the white cables. I'd like to see instructions that clearly explain all the connectors and cables, and Corsair's manuals don't assume you're already familiar with the technology. This was my first experience with a fully modular power supply and I was excited to see the fabric covered cables. I found the supplied cable to be quite cumbersome to process, a capacitor soldered into each line with shrink tubing in the middle between each cable end, two cable combs very difficult to insert into the cable. Examine the power supplies before you just plug them in, I need them.
