First of all, this was the most popular Christmas present of 2018 in my house. So overall I am positive about this product. The scoreboard and digital display, as well as the sound effects and ball return mechanism are all efficient and fun. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because of two omissions. The bracket that holds the grille to the door does not adjust to the size of the outside door, so you are limited in terms of placement. In my house, the first two options turned out to be front doors, but we found a suitable third option that allowed us to use the basket and still have fun. The second downside is that the product uses four type-C batteries that were not included. I'd rather see manufacturers add five dollars to the cost of the product and include batteries. Overall I recommend this product but the buyer should be aware that they must have a supply of batteries on hand and please ensure your home has enough space for a basket to climb a door that is not a front door is.
