Once you try these first class knives you will never go back to them. That's why I say this little butcher knife is surprisingly good! I've been looking for a heavy duty cleaver for a while - my Shun brand doesn't have that option. The main purpose of this knife is to cut large whole fish to fit through the bones. Also, occasionally share a whole BBQ chicken or Chinese-style crispy pork. It does the job perfectly. As you can see, the aesthetic is also consistent with my Shun collection. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to wield these types of heavier knives.
