They worked great on a 2000 Ford F150 5.4 v8. They must be replaced when replacing the plastic intake manifold. Just a few more wires to unplug and the covers can be pulled out from under the main wiring harness and reinserted, but use one hand to hold the grommet when inserting and carefully inspect the seal from all sides with a small mirror on the handle before removing attract their city. Surprisingly, once the manifold is removed, installation isn't much of a problem.
