I received a lovely little round rose gold speaker. It's so cute, just my style. Having bought slightly cheaper bar style speakers (2 of them) just before they went on sale and they didn't even last a week I was a bit skeptical too. I really needed something for my laptop as my speakers stopped making very loud noises after a recent Windows update - I could hear, just not very well. I use my laptop for watching videos and Hulu/Netflix etc and for my college classes so being able to hear the audio clearly is very important. I'm also middle-aged, so my hearing may be getting "slightly" worse - just don't tell anyone! Anyway, I like this little speaker. I make great sound and lots of volume, and I often turn the volume down as this can get a lot louder than I personally need, but this works well if you want the sound to fill a room, for example. I am very happy with this purchase and love that the rose gold is incredibly charming!
