Review on πŸš— Gunmetal Grey Carbon Fiber VViViD XPO 5' x 1' Car Wrap Vinyl Roll with Air Release Technology for Enhanced SEO by William Nunes

Quite thick but with fold lines

This is my first hood wrap. My hood had a lot of paint chips and peeling paint from driving on the freeway. The woman said: ENOUGH! So I bought this film. Cons: The film came in a long, thin box and was creased. The photo shows the effect on the foil. I would return it but it's an old car and we just want to cover up the hood imperfections. You can also see that as the foil unfolds, there are creases that fall outside of the curved area. If you're working alone and have never done it before, you'll likely be disappointed (but that's not the slide's fault). I used some spray primer (and it dried within a day) and when I pulled back the foil to readjust it tightened a bit. primer paints. Keep this in mind if you are looking for perfection as the paint has stuck to the film and may result in a slight defect when reapplied to the car. Pros: The film seems thick. Two children helped me and we were able to remove and reapply the film SEVERAL times to eliminate air pockets or wrinkles. The packaging showed no signs of loosening (or tearing). That's what I liked best about the wrapper. 5'x7' was enough for my hood with enough clearance on each side (if you have a larger hood it might be tighter). better. Conclusion: I would give grade 4, but the goods arrived damaged. This could have been avoided by installing a thicker box or cardboard core in the winding roll. If I were looking closer to perfection I would return the packaging for one that is not wrinkled. The film itself was thick and could get the job done. While you can still see some imperfections on the front of the hood (not the wrap's fault), the wrap makes the car so much better and I've even gotten compliments from strangers. Hope this review helps you.
