Easy to use looks great with lots of colors

I love vivvid vinyl, have used it a lot. Very easy to use, very forgiving for beginners. Ideal for covering scratches or changing the look. I used it on a Vespa that I was repairing and couldn't get the paint to match. It was light and went quite well with the blue; Black goes with everything, but I still have some grey. Take a soft mop with a cloth and a heat gun (I have a $5 port freight). The main thing is not to rush, but heat is your friend

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Very good vinyl!

I like it very much! I was so tired of driving and seeing trucks that looked almost exactly like mine. I'm so happy I chose Vvivid Dark Gray Carbon Fiber Vinyl Sheet. (Black carbon fiber on hood and top) This was my first time doing a film and I have a little learning to do. In case of confusion and repetition, be sure to buy some more. I used the recommended squeegee, razor blade and heat gun to apply. In general, I am very happy with the results! Now no one has a truck like mine.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Periodicity

Easy to use! Vinyl wrap and accessory compatible

I was amazed at how easy it is to heat and stretch the concave/convex surfaces and inside and outside corners of my car's interior trim. I was able to heat and reheat it to apply to harder areas, pull and reapply without tearing or warping the vinyl or pattern. I really like the matte finish as well as the carbon fiber structure. I've never done anything like this, but I've seen a few videos of other people doing it. Surface preparation and a little patience are key. I definitely learned moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Very good vinyl - dark gray

I was very pleased with the quality of the vinyl. I have chosen to stay away from 3M self-adhesive vinyl as it is less forgiving. As advertising, you can crumple or ruin it, just add heat and regain shape. I am new to this field and although it took me a few tries I was finally able to get what I was looking for. Heat reaches far and is your friend. As for bronze grey, I also always order things that I expect will NOT be the exact color shown in the photos. This particular metallic gray wasโ€ฆ

Decent quality for the price but not as easy to use as it looks.

Overall this is a good product. Looks great on the car when done right. You have to get used to that. I would buy more and try some of the easier things you might want to do first. Applying heat makes it more flexible, but it quickly starts to stick. Too much heat and he blisters. Using a heat gun will quickly go from stretching to blowing, so be careful. Take it easy on the heat. A regular hair dryer will do, but it's slow. Making fairings and panels on a car is not bad. The interior is goodโ€ฆ

  • Durable finish

  • Disappears

Great product!: Vinyl

Vinyl is new to me and I haven't used any other brand than VViViD so I can't compare. For my project I wrapped several new car interiors and used different types of VViViD vinyl. Each one is of high quality and the carbon fiber pattern looks and feels authentic. It was very easy and forgiving to work with. I looked at a couple of how-to videos I found online and only had two mistakes that I had to make a second time. The recurrences were not the product's fault, it was my inexperience with theโ€ฆ

Quite thick but with fold lines

This is my first hood wrap. My hood had a lot of paint chips and peeling paint from driving on the freeway. The woman said: ENOUGH! So I bought this film. Cons: The film came in a long, thin box and was creased. The photo shows the effect on the foil. I would return it but it's an old car and we just want to cover up the hood imperfections. You can also see that as the foil unfolds, there are creases that fall outside of the curved area. If you're working alone and have never done it beforeโ€ฆ
