I needed a ramp for my cat who just had major surgery. I like the design because unlike other ramps it is not very steep. However, some of the holes do not line up to the point where screws cannot be inserted. When you're promoting a product that anyone can assemble, more quality assurance is needed to make sure everything is in order. I can't drill, so that's particularly inconvenient. I saw a few reviews where this worked well and a few with the same issue, so I rolled the dice. I was one of the unlucky ones. I would return it but it comes in such a box that I literally had to tear it apart to get it. I will not look for a new box, disassemble it completely and send it back and risk getting a new one with exactly the same defect. I suspect online retailers get away with large items with poor quality assurance because they rely on them being too difficult to return. I'll try to get by with wood glue but that's not what I need to do which is why it gets 1 star.
