Man, I really miss my old heater I bought at Wal-Mart a few years ago. This item was good and lasted about 3 years and I will wear it year round. Again, I wouldn't call that rubbish, but maybe they could make better use of the materials that made this product out of. When it worked, the heater was pretty powerful on the lowest setting. I like to turn on the heating, mainly to keep my feet warm while I sleep or work (from home, of course). However, this thing is pretty powerful. I only had the lowest setting and it would heat my entire bedroom. Unfortunately, this thing fails after 40 days. I see some comments saying it stops working after a month or two and I confirm that I am another victim of the short lifespan. To make matters worse, even though this product is a Prime product, I didn't have the option to purchase an extended warranty when I purchased the item. It was probably a red flag that I ignored. Also, I can't find a website to find out what the company's warranty is on the product, and there's no contact information for the company.
