There are many things to like about these lanterns as long as they last from afar. It gets high marks for now because of the many features and extras available with these lights (see video) - it's 200 LED lights, 66ft long and it's great - warm white bulbs suitable for Christmas. and other festivals - big bulbs, nice conical shape - there are multiple modes, couldn't see all 8 modes as amazon list but could see quite a bit and they all looked really good, you can switch to the appropriate one according to your needs in in any case, and they are easy to switch, although no remote control is supplied. I haven't actually tested these lights but have used many similar ones and they are generally waterproof. So really think it will be the same with them, they claim to be expandable but only with compatible connectors. They don't have a different pin connector that other flashlights usually have. This is a bit of a problem if you don't want to extend those lights. Also, the package does not provide a replacement like other flashlights, which is another limitation. So when the light bulb burns out, I don't know how to fix the situation. One point less for this reason. Overall I'm happy with the headlights. I've seen these headlights break after a few years so I'll be keeping a close eye on that aspect.
