Other reviewers said it was a scoop and I kinda agree but I like it. It's a great design on paper and I didn't care about the price for its durability, but I can't help but be disappointed with the overall quality and "feel". The wooden handle has no finish (a bonus if you plan to use linseed oil) and the metal edges of the pan are a bit sharp due to the stamping process. All of this I wouldn't mind if he had good "balance" and "feel", but it doesn't. Holding the pan is awkward and she wants to turn over to shake off the dust.
