Working on 115hp Evinrude transmission. with some serious locking rings deep inside the torpedo. I can't pray that my standard snap ring pliers would work in this situation, mainly because they are too short for the jaws to expand enough to engage the snap ring, but looking back after using these pliers - I never would have enough beef for work. They worked perfectly, they were a bit difficult to attach due to the depth of the ring, the diameter of the torpedo and the presence of a drive shaft, but once they snapped in, they made the tricky task easier. OB Maker's "Real McCoy Pliers" cost $125 and can't do better! Thanks very much!
