I bought this for myself to edit videos and show extra info. When editing a video, all your audio and video tracks are listed vertically. So it's quite difficult to see everything on a regular landscape monitor. But that's so easy to see. This is much better than flipping a regular monitor vertically because regular monitors are too narrow and you can't see much to the left and right. But this monitor allows you to see a lot in all directions. You essentially stacked two 16:9 screens to get one 16:18 screen. And it was a brilliant idea. This monitor actually takes up less floor space than my 32-inch 16:9 4K monitor because it's narrower than the smaller monitor. Now the space above the monitor is usually just air, so it doesn't matter how high the monitor is. But the width takes up space on the desktop. In Windows 11 people are used to anchor layouts where you can easily position your windows. However, these anchor layouts are completely different from the DualUp monitor. I wish they just added more layouts instead of replacing them, but the new layers are better suited to a vertical monitor. The picture is bright, with accurate color reproduction and just a pleasure to look at. The monitor arm is fantastic, feels like your monitor is hanging and it's very easy to set up without much hassle. You can turn the monitor sideways like a door for easy access. You can easily rotate your monitor to a more traditional orientation, but why? Now editing photos in Lightroom or Photoshop is so easy. Portrait since I got the battery for my Canon R5 and this monitor is perfect for editing portrait photos. It also has two inputs so you can connect 2 devices or 2 computers to one monitor which was very convenient for me. So I connected an Xbox Series X as well as my desktop PC. I can also connect my Surface Pro 8 via USB-C. It has a built in KVM switch but I haven't tried it yet. And the best rating for this monitor? When the authorities saw him, they asked him to buy 7 more for the pharmacy!
