I found this out because so many websites these days are designed for mobile phones and not computers. A widescreen laptop or desktop monitor just doesn't display enough web pages that have thick bezels at the top. Good for mobile, terrible for widescreen. I used it as my main monitor for 3 days and my neck hurts a lot. It may be more functional as a secondary, but not as a primary. I've tried adjusting the table height accordingly, but it's still not for me.

I think this is the perfect secondary monitor, especially if you're using a large format primary monitor. It seems to me that most traditional 16:9 aspect ratio monitors are always too thin when flipped horizontally. It's the perfect size when you stack two windows on top of each other, giving you two regular 21-inch monitors. Goes well with my ultrawide, no complaints at all.

I've been using a similar approach with two LG 27s stacked on top of each other for more than 5 years. As you can see, this is not the best implementation, but it is the best in volume. Connected to a MacBook Air M1 via a Brydge TB4 Dock - also used with other systems via DP, HDMI and USB-C. Used on two or more computers but currently in full resolution with full screen windows of Outlook, Teams, Messages and more in each of the 4 corners. There are no serious complaints, but the speakers are on the weak side and the height of the screen limits some placement options. But it's worth it to me.

After using this monitor for about a month (purchased from LG's website), I don't know how I managed to go without it for so long. The brightness level could be increased, but it's pretty good for what I use it for (encoding/reading/connecting an iPad to view notes/YouTube, etc.). I don't even dream of trying to play on this monitor (that's not what they made it for, so I can't give them a bad review for it). If you are a STEM student or related profession, this may be a requirement.

I bought this for myself to edit videos and show extra info. When editing a video, all your audio and video tracks are listed vertically. So it's quite difficult to see everything on a regular landscape monitor. But that's so easy to see. This is much better than flipping a regular monitor vertically because regular monitors are too narrow and you can't see much to the left and right. Product description is wrong. It says 33 inches, but that's nowhere near that height. Neither width. Beware. The product is not even close to the stated size.

So you can't say that this "Nano IPS" screen sucks. I spent 3 hours trying all possible settings including HDR. I'm using a 16" Apple MBP and the colors are terrible in comparison. It's even hard to look at, it seems to sting your eyes. What they did wrong is interesting. I can't evolve on that, ever. I use this display in the office with two computers connected to it via HDMI ports. The screen is in a top-to-bottom split portrait format, so each PC screen displayed is 2560 x 1440. Compared to my other screens, the clarity of this screen is a bit soft. There is the slightest blur, it's not a display limiter, it's still very legible, but I've also connected 2 other screens and it's not as sharp compared to those other screens. Unfortunately I can't use this for photo editing or graphic design, the colors on the monitor are inaccurate and I can never get them right.

This monitor is great for business purposes like reading and writing documents, programming, and surfing the web. The screen ratio makes vertical viewing much easier. At the same time, however, the monitor is not very suitable for entertainment purposes, including gaming or watching video content, since the screen's aspect ratio is not well suited for this type of content. For these reasons, I highly recommend this monitor to people who don't need to use it for entertainment purposes.
