While this is a solid fondue set, there's a serious problem with it. The burners are poorly made and very difficult to access when the pot is hot. For some reason they don't burn no matter how much burner gel you put in the burners, even if you lower the temperature a bit. You must continue to cover them. While the big problem is annoying, there's no way to extend the burner to reignite it without having to lift the entire fondue pot and base. Something that becomes the work of two people once the pot and base are heated: one person holds the heavy pot and base with oven mitts, and the second person accesses the burner and relights it. I foolishly threw the box away before I knew about this problem, otherwise I would have sent it back in a second. In addition, the pot is easy enough to clean and seems to last a long time.
