Great quality fondue pot and a great replacement for my wedding gift 15 years ago. It's durable, easy to clean and large enough for cheese and chocolate fondue. I don't think I would recommend this for butter or broth fondue as it's flatter. But our cheese fondue was a hit and perfect for our family of 4.

This fondue set is used for cheese fondue. Be sure to check the size before ordering. This set is suitable for 2 people but too small for 4 people. Not good: Our fondue pot was not properly on the base. As soon as you wiggle the fork, the pan slides to the side. Dangerous! I had to lathe the base to achieve stability. I'm not sure if everyone has such devices in the apartment! I probably wouldn't buy again

I recently received a fondue set, used it once and loved it. The cast iron fondue pot was very heavy and beautiful. I thought a 1.1 liter would be small because our friends had a 3 liter but it really wasn't. It was better in my opinion. I used stubble at the bottom, but there wasn't much space between the stubble and the pot, so the cheese was very hot and I was afraid it would burn. Sometimes the flame went out too. Must buy the gel they recommend.

Favorite size, perfect for a family dinner. Cast iron heats evenly, can be used on the stovetop and on the stand. Fondue forks are strong and sharp. Easy and quick cleaning. Used it for cheese fondue and bouillon fondue the same evening. Cons - The heating element requires liquid fuel to fill it. I tried using the fuel canister I had as a brazier, but it was too big to fit under the stand. You must use the small/short fuel cans or liquid fuel from the kit provided.

Overall this is a pretty solid starter fondue set. As mentioned in some reviews, the pot does not "snap" and moves slightly when standing on the stand. Also, I find that the temperature control device is average. Either very hot or off. The offered fondue skewers are cheap and easy to bend. But we made a delicious fondue out of it. Cleaning is pretty easy. I find that the pot is very durable which is nice and will be used for a long time. Very solid fondue set for beginners.

While this is a solid fondue set, there's a serious problem with it. The burners are poorly made and very difficult to access when the pot is hot. For some reason they don't burn no matter how much burner gel you put in the burners, even if you lower the temperature a bit. You must continue to cover them. While the big problem is annoying, there's no way to extend the burner to reignite it without having to lift the entire fondue pot and base. Something that becomes the work of two people once…
