For as long as I can remember my Hispanic grandmother always had balls of yarn of different colors and sizes around the house and a basket of knitting needles right next to the chair in the living room. So a knitting/sewing gift was for sure, although maybe not the most original idea, at least that's what I thought until I looked online and saw these glowing needles. I didn't know they existed and most likely my grandma didn't either and the product seemed handy as the dimensions looked decent and the backlight probably would have helped her see more (or at least she'll think she's cute are / quirky.) The item was delivered on time and the price I got at Revain was a good deal. I'm glad I took these books along with children's pattern books and of course more yarn because once she opened it all up she couldn't stop smiling and thanking me! After explaining how needles work to her and some of my other relatives who were with us, she was really excited to try them and we even joked about how she could work on projects even in the dark! My grandma is delighted with the gift and unless she mentions otherwise I would give this product a full 5 stars.
