Review on Farberware 5119337 4-Piece Assorted Classic High Carbon Stainless Steel Paring Knives Set by Nicole Torres

Disclosure: I'm a big smoothie lover, so I'm quick to pick knives unless they're strong. So here's my take on these cute little bugs! They are effective for small, thin-skinned, and pliable products (e.g. kiwis, cucumbers). I tried it on an apple, and the blade quickly slipped, and I barked so loudly that my dogs ran across the apartment to the kitchen, ears perked up, thinking the treat was well-deserved for their attention. They are slightly smaller in my hand. than I expected, which is a little frustrating, but my palms/fingers are pretty big for a woman, so most others shouldn't have too much of a problem. The handle has so far held up being washed in the dishwasher almost every day. The blades have only recently begun to dull, but not terribly or prematurely. Overall satisfied, only four stars as they don't hold up or are flexible enough to compete with tougher products. The packaging is strange: it's a large mailer that appears to be empty. When you receive mail at an apartment complex, expect it to be backed up in your inbox along with everything else when it's notified as "delivered."
