Review on Gear Aid Tenacious Patches Outdoor by Maalik Harris

I had a Thermarest Trail Scout mattress with over 20 cat holes. I only used clear patches (no adhesion at the seams) and they completely covered the holes to the point where I was able to sleep on the mattress without air escaping. I've heard they don't work that well with nylon or power fabrics, but I imagine they will work wonders on a worn pair of frog toggs or other urethane fabric. Nothing sticks to silicone, but if you try, use rubbing alcohol to clean the DWR of anything you want to patch. The black ones matched my Uniqlo down parka very well. I washed it several times at this point and they didn't budge. Saved me from throwing it away. This was the third time I've bought these and I always keep black and clear in my backpack repair kit. We highly recommend using them over duct tape.
