Review on 🚴 TIEM Slipstream: Women's Indoor Cycling Shoe with SPD Compatibility - Unleash Your Cycling Potential! by Edwin White

Very convenient and worth it!

Based on other reviews I received these with little expectation but I was VERY pleasantly surprised! I bought them to wear to cycling lessons. I live two blocks from my studio, so having shoes that I can walk around in was a plus for me. Fit: I wear street shoes 8.5 or 9 and sneakers from Brooks and Asics 9.5. I was wearing size 41 Shimano road shoes that I rented from my studio. I originally bought a pair of LG road bike boots in 41 and they were too small and narrow. Based on the reviews I read, I bought the 9.5 from TIEM. They seem a bit tight but cause no discomfort. You feel safe in class. I have enough room in my sock. Performance: I've read a few reviews that say people think TIEMs aren't stiff enough underfoot when deployed, but I haven't had that experience. They feel like bike shoes and have hard hard plastic in the middle of the foot so it's great to ride out of the saddle. They have more cushioning than other cycling shoes, which I really liked. I felt comfortable throughout the course, more comfortable than usual with Shimano. I can feel the thorns on the floor when I wake up to asphalt and cement, but walking around my hardwood floored house was fine. Installing the spike was SUPER easy. I keep seeing people saying they took them to a bike shop for this, but honestly it's all about screwing them into shoes. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, I will cover the cost of renting the shoes in about two months, so they are worth it, especially considering the increased comfort, the need to change shoes in the studio and the fact that that they are just cute.
