Very happy with this machine. I own 2-3 months, I use several times a day. You CAN adjust the 3 cup sizes into 3 different ranges (Small, Standard (Medium) and Larger), the manual explains how. The default is the medium range (4oz, 6oz, 8oz), but you can set it to the smaller or larger side, which I think adds or subtracts 2oz to each size (2oz/4oz/6oz ; 4 ounces/6 ounces/8 ounces; 8 ounces). /10oz/12oz). I set it on the large side, which helps fill the travel mug better (if your K mug allows for more brews but still tastes good). But when you change clothes, don't accidentally use the middle button for a regular mug! You'll remember it pretty quickly if you do this. :) Pros: 1) No extra frills and LCD screens and all that nonsense of popular Keurig coffeemakers that cost twice as much for the same cup of coffee 2) Heats up FAST, faster than Keurig coffeemakers. Handle must be DOWN to heat (see note #3 below) 3) The detachable water tank that's easy to grab and easy to fill is AWESOME! Much nicer and less bulky than the elongated Keurig models. It is very easy to remove and install, does not flow. Easy to fill from a spray bottle or jug, or carry to the sink. 4) No "certified K-cups only" nonsense. You can use any size of K-Cup pads you want. No monopoly on brands like Keurig is promoting their relatively new (but easily tricked) Brewer 2.0 with a chip sensor that prevents other manufacturers from using K-Cups. 5) Attractive. The light is nice but not flashy. The blue illuminated water level window with red float is practical and beautiful at the same time. 6) Suitable for tall cups if you remove the easily removable base. Also suitable for wide "soup" cups. Minor flaws: 1) Removable two-piece cup base/drip catcher vibrates and rattles like crazy when brewing, even with a mug on top. We should put a folded napkin or piece of paper towel inside to muffle the rattling while brewing. 2) It keeps dripping for 10-20 seconds after the end beep. It's ok, as in case #1 above, we put a folded piece of paper towel in the base to stop the rattling and this soaks up those extra hidden drips too. Just replace it as needed, it takes 10 seconds. 3) It only heats up when the handle is in the DOWN position. It took me a few brows to figure it out. Take out the old cup, leave the handle up/open, turn on the walking mode, come back in 5-10 minutes to brew a cup of coffee, not reheated! [angry face]. Maybe that's what the manual says, I don't know. But once you get the hang of it, and you do it fairly quickly, it actually gets hot very quickly (Pro #2 above). One thing about Keurig that this brand has is that they get hot no matter the position of the grip.
