Great filter. I have been using this brand for many years. Installed on the cold water line under the kitchen sink. I use this tap water for my Soda Stream water. We live in Seattle and have very clean water that is low in minerals. But I filter it because I hate the taste and smell of chlorine. This filter gives me exceptionally great tasting water for 4-5 months. The instructions say it lasts 6 months but I can be too busy keeping the filter clean. I live at the end of a water pipe, so there are a lot of old pipe remnants in my pipes. The filter catches it, which is one of the reasons I change it more than once every six months.
