Super easy build (actually came mostly assembled) - the software was easy to add to an existing recalbox image, I had to google a few things like: Mount filesystem as read-write - nothing to do with actually installing the product software which actually worked fine, just things specific to the image I was using. Uses two (2) 18650 FLAT TOP batteries (this is important). According to my local Batteries+ they are now regulated like tobacco products so I had to buy them from a vape/pipe store. Room for Improvement: The A and B buttons are the reverse of what a gamepad would do. The directional pad is not very responsive. It looks like the pads on gaming console controllers, but it's not - they're actually larger and awkward to use diagonally. I see that I only use a gamepad with it as there are too few buttons for some systems and even arcade games (Mortal Kombat!). Fortunately, all USB ports are easily accessible from the side. It cannot output to HDMI, the port connects directly to the display. Very durable, the screen is large and has a good resolution.
