Everything seemed good at first, the sound was good. I installed it into a sparkling clean DG slip-on just like the other seals. Done about 800 miles in a few months on a rebuilt top end. Exhaust removed due to bike running too rich/burning oil. Opened and the packaging was completely gone, save for about the size of a steel wool pad. I'm not sure where it went but my guess is that it basically clogged the spark arrester causing the bike to run very rich which washed out the new set of rings that never came off. Not sure if the packing clogged the spark arrester causing the ring to be flushed or if the rings never seated and the oil/fat oil condition caused the packing to deteriorate rapidly and clogged the spark arrestor which in turn did that problem worsened.
