Review on πŸ₯˜ All-Clad Stainless Steel Steamer Cookware, 5-Quart, Silver - Enhanced SEO by Kyle Mason

The best crock pot in my kitchen

I have a full set of 5 tier All-Clad with a copper strip and I love them. I missed my 4 liter Farberware pan. It was a good size for steaming some veggies and soup and I liked the shape and two handles rather than one long one. I also wanted to replace the tall 8 liter soup pot with a removable non-stick coating. This 5 liter steamer is the perfect replacement for both pots. It's not as heavy as my 5-layer set which makes it a bit easier to handle, it's perfect for small soup recipes, heats water very quickly (!), has its own steamer basket and fits in my cupboard without taking up too much space take up too much space. For those worried about pit problems. When I first received my 5-ply All-Cald set it was instructed never to add salt to the pot until the liquid was boiling. This makes sense because in a non-boiling liquid you can see the salt crystals settle to the bottom of the pan and slowly bubble in place until the liquid starts to boil and the crystals melt. I've followed these instructions faithfully with my All Clad pans for a year without a single hole or blemish. And when I'm heating water for pasta, or when there's nothing in the pot for the salt to settle on, I stir the contents until I'm sure the salt crystals aren't settling to the bottom. Most of my Farberware pans have been pitted in the past and I wish I had known about salt sooner. One final note: Shop Bartender's Friend Liquid Formula here at Revain. It really makes the All-Clad sparkle. Just make sure to rinse it thoroughly, it may leave a slight haze or film if not rinsed well.
