Received as a gift for my birthday on April 15th. Less than a month ago… I followed all the instructions, I use cream, oil, I put a block on my standing butcher in the middle of the room so there's no abuse. I use it probably 5 times. And I was shocked when I looked at it today, there were TWO tears. One tear was pretty obvious, the second I could see tape in the tear. $200 is a lot of money to spend on a cutting board! It's so disappointing when something that has such good reviews and a good reputation turns out to be junk. Also, Revane wouldn't replace it with the same item.
