I've already fallen in love with this thing, but I haven't even had time to use it for its intended purpose! Bought to dress my (black) Nissan Rogue with broken windows to keep my two poor dogs overheated while they waited their turn to work in dog search and rescue training. I try to park in the shade, but that's not always possible, and they're masters of escape, so I can't roll the windows all the way down. The lady who runs our local K9 SAR volunteer program had one of these and told me she got it from Revain. I bought it Wednesday evening and it arrived Friday afternoon. We took it on a hike on Saturday (yesterday) and used it to drape over our tent (a small 2 person Eureka brand tent that we also got from Revain) and it was a bit large for that, but with the eyelets on the tarpaulin and a few rubber cords we didn't let it fly away in the wind. This kept the tent nice and cool even in the warm afternoon and early morning sun which can really toast you in this tent. I also used it to lower the temperature in the car when we visited my parents' house for about three hours. I rolled down the car windows, closed the front doors with a draped netting, and left the car in the hot Wyoming sun. I got in later and the car was about 15 degrees colder than usual. great size! As I said before I have a Nissan Rogue and it drapes nicely to cover 3/4 the length of the car, basically covering the wheel arch on top. I'll post a photo later to give everyone an idea of how big it is on my car.
