Review on GE 6-Outlet Power Strip with 2 Ft Extension Cord and Heavy Duty Plug: UL Listed, Grounded, Integrated Circuit Breaker, 3-Prong, Wall Mount - White by Dana Mahendra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is normal for power strips and surge protectors

One evening, as I sat at my desk reading many conflicting reviews, my eyelids grew heavy and my soul began to weary. Will I ever find a product that doesn't have reviews with photos of a burned power strip and warning labels? Will I ever stop trying to figure out what makes a good extension cord? Will I ever stop scrolling? Asking myself this question got me thinking about the days when people didn't read, let alone write, extension cord reviews. Of course, we weren't always discerning consumers. Remember the days you went to the store and bought an extension cord? You probably never paid attention to any of the properties. But times are different now. Now we have access to the horror stories associated with every product in the world and we can compare the characteristics of one power strip to another, even though we don't know what those differences really mean. We now have stars and you are fooling yourself if you think consumers would settle for less than 4 stars out of 5. The times have changed. Anyway, I bought this extension and it seems to be doing what I was hoping for. No more and no less.
