The main problem with this stand is that it is designed for "elongated" (like oval) chainstays. The manufacturer does not mention this difference. The part that attaches has two plastic inserts and that's it, no spacers, set screws or anything else that would make it stable on a "round chain". The hole is big too. I tried wrapping gorilla tape around my round chain spring to help but was unsuccessful. I tried to run the extra rubber I had. Bad luck. Imagine you tighten all three screws until they stop. Now grasp the bottom of the footrest and use the lever to move it slightly like the weight of a bicycle. Watch your bike fall in slow motion. Literally. Also, if you have oval chainstays, make sure they fit. I think a width of 5/8 and over horizontally would be about the minimum. When the counterparts are fully connected I measure around 0.670. height not measured. He has a very muscular upper part, so he carries a lot of weight.
