Great value for money

The stand was well packaged and very easy to set up. It's definitely designed to match the oval rear legs of the bike. The clamps are very strong, the spring is strong but doesn't wobble. Easy to adjust and tune with the included hex keys. It supports my tired 700c bike and can be raised if needed. Definitely recommended and I would buy it again. Also, the red oval on the front is just a sticker, so you can take it off and make the stand all black if that's important to you. Feel free to buy.

For a 20ft bike the footpeg doesn't rise far enough to be "a kickstand "

(so it can be used on a 20ft kids bike) For a kickstand it is still too high. Even my kid gets annoyed about not being able to use the stand because it's too high to use, if I could lower the stand further it would work great but - it's the furthest away. Better said if the footrest in the footrest is too high to even use the bike or lean on it unless there is a descent, that's the only way it works.

easy height adjustment

I bought a Mercier hybrid bike that doesn't have the usual spacing or bottom handle attachment. This alloy meets all requirements. Of course, even if the bolts are tightened, there may be some slippage. However, if you adjust the incline more vertically, the footrest will hold. It makes sense to have the stand this far because your backpacks and anything you're carrying will be there; more direct support. This stand is well made, easily adjustable in height and mounts far enough away from your…

Shit! Do not buy! for car carrier, transport and storage

This footrest has an adjustable slider on the back of the footrest. You can loosen the hex screw that holds the slider firmly against the back that fixes the length of the supporting leg. The problem is that during a long ride, as happened to me, the bolt and slider can come loose and the slider completely slips off the top half of the footpeg where the entire bottom half disappears and is lost. I lost my bottom half this way and didn't hear it as I drove down a street with traffic noise from…

Beautiful, well made, but not enough for me.

I have a medium sized Fuel EX 8 Trek mountain bike. It has no stand. It seems perfect to me, but there is one caveat: the adjustable leg is actually too short. I set the maximum length, but the bike isn't as straight as I'd like it to be. My bike has 26 inch wheels. It would definitely be too short for 27.5" or 29" wheels. Even what looks like rubber inserts in the retaining clip is actually hard plastic. So it will not fit any other bar than the one it was designed for. Luckily I had a stick…

Not very good. suitable for car rack, transport and storage

I bought this stand because it was cheaper than others. It should be mounted on the side frame of the bike, not under the center of the frame between the pedals like most stands. This complicates installation as it requires three nuts and consists of multiple parts. I tried installing it on my daughter's 18" kids bike but the pedal kept hitting the footrest. Also, it's too long even though it's adjustable. Now on my bike which is fine but I had to play with it to make sure it wasn't touching my

Good workmanship and high quality materials. Not suitable for 20 " bikes.

Good workmanship and materials, HOWEVER, this stand does not immediately fit a 20" children's bike. The minimum stand extension is still too high. I have it for my 20" mountain bike son bought. Once installed (which was easy and straightforward) the stand tipped the bike over. I removed the extension and had to cut about 1.5 inches off the end of the solid aluminum shaft and reinstall it. Doesn't affect the function or integrity of the stand, but it now has "enough tilt" to properly hold the…

I hope you are feeling better.

The main problem with this stand is that it is designed for "elongated" (like oval) chainstays. The manufacturer does not mention this difference. The part that attaches has two plastic inserts and that's it, no spacers, set screws or anything else that would make it stable on a "round chain". The hole is big too. I tried wrapping gorilla tape around my round chain spring to help but was unsuccessful. I tried to run the extra rubber I had. Bad luck. Imagine you tighten all three screws until…
