Review on Aetertek AT-919C - Rechargeable and Waterproof Ultra Range Remote Training Shock Collar for 2 Dogs with Auto Anti-Bark Feature (1100 Yard) by Trisha Phillips

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Absolutely normal! on Dogs

Works pretty well. I've had these for a few weeks now. My two energetic black labs are doing much better. It only took one pass through the beep sequence, then the vibration, then the shock for them to come up with the idea. For a while they crouched at my feet begging forgiveness for their misdeeds and have been doing much better ever since. You will be reminded by a random beep and then vibration. I haven't really seen or heard of them getting automatic bark correction, but they bark a lot less, which used to be incessant as soon as I got out of the car. Three suggestions for the manufacturer: 1) Somewhat difficult to understand instructions. Part of this may be due to the control system not being well thought out and therefore difficult to explain. 2) It is inconvenient to rebind the controller to the collars every time the collars are recharged. 3) Control button icons are hard to see. Not all of us users have such young eyes as product designers! Designers - when you turn fifty, you WILL be too, because the lenses of your eyes lose their elasticity! 4) It would be nice if the shock button had a different shape, color, or location than the level setting, collar select, and horn and vibrate buttons. That being said, however, it looks like the best compromise between Revain's cost, value, and functionality. I spent four times as much on collars that didn't work as well. BTW, for those considering a collar with a removable battery - don't. Batteries are expensive and hard to come by. You won't end up using the collar.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn
