I bought this bike for my daughter who just turned 6 years old. It was love at first sight. This is a great kids bike. First, it looks sharp - like a high-end race bike. The pink color and the name "Buttons" suggest it's intended for a girl, but the look of the bike suggests it's still relevant. Assembly was easy, although the writing in the instructions was too small for my elderly eyes. Took me about 20 minutes from opening the box to fully assembling and using. I used my own tools but the ones that came with the kit seemed to fit. When my daughter saw it, she immediately wanted to ride it. She is small for her age, only 3.5 meters tall. I bought the model with 16" wheels hoping it would last for years. It's a bit too big for her now, she can only put her socks on the floor when she's as low on the seat as I am . But we put her in the driveway and she climbed it. And took off. The wide street tires keep the little rider safe and the gearing gives more power when pedaling. It's pretty fast. As she pulled into her first corner, I was worried about the perceived limited steering range but she made a pretty sharp turn (she was busy ringing the bell) with no problems. Now she wants to ride every day and I also have to buy a stupid bike because now is it's hard to keep up with her. Is that all? A trick to get me to buy a more expensive bike? Buttons is a great bike. I think they will be friends for a long time. And the bell is adorable.
