Great bike! in Children's Bikes & Accessories

This bike is adorable and very sturdy. I bought it for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it. I added a basket in the front so she can carry her dolls and all her important nature finds. The basket I also bought from Revain was the "Colorbasket 01624 Kids Front Handlebar Bike Basket" in black. It fits perfectly and looks great.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Something Different

Too many problems, best in kids bikes

I want to love this bike but it has too many flaws. The pedal falls off all the time, there was no kickstand, a click with each turn (from the chain). I tried to contact the company but no response for a week. This is our second royalbaby bike. Her older sister had one a few years ago. We love the old bike, but this one has too many problems. I hope the company sees this review and fixes it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Negative gift

So far, so good. for sport

Received the bike today. It is easy to assemble and easy to adjust the brake shoe height. This is a pretty light bike compared to the 12 inch bike I bought from Wally's. The bike rack works very well. My 6 year old daughter was so excited to try this when she got home from school. The front brake is really useful and didn't take long to get used to. This is not a heavy bike. By the way, it was an 18 inch bike.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Too heavy and stiff to pedal

As some others have said: - Too heavy - Haven't tried weighing it but seems heavier than the advertised weight - Pedaling too hard - Rear wheel seems not rotate freely. Usually everything seems a bit cramped. I just removed the training wheels so my son can try without them and found that the nuts and bolts holding the training wheels are already a bit rusty (this is 6 months after purchase). Overall the quality is not as expected. Bought after all the good reviews but disappointed.

Great bike for toddlers: Cycling

Got this as a Christmas present for our 3.5 year old son (height 14 inches). It fits perfectly, with the seat all the way down. He will be able to use it for at least one pair. The bike was VERY easy to put together - I (mom) did it myself in 20 minutes. He had never ridden a bike with training wheels before and was up and running in 10 minutes. figured out how to use both types of brakes (backup pedaling or handbrake).

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Parts keep falling off

I love this bike but hate the issues it comes with given the price paid for it. I was able to assemble it myself, but not without problems. The instructions were confusing and the tools weren't the easiest to work with. After assembly and a tight fit of the parts, they still come loose. I do not understand. I have had other people make adjustments as well, but I still have trouble loosening parts and at times it was very dangerous for my son. The pros of the bike are that it's cute and the main

Basically great. for children's bicycles and accessories

very good BUT: if (not if, when) the chain tears from the rails, you have to disassemble the whole thing, and that requires a lot of tools, time and obscenities to repair and collect again. And you will get it wrong the first time. Don't install the included bell if you have an almost four-year-old who dings your face while you're putting it back together (and don't let them see it and ask about it). This is more parenting advice than a bike review. As for the bike, I love that the chain is…

The perfect sports bike

I bought this bike for my daughter who just turned 6 years old. It was love at first sight. This is a great kids bike. First, it looks sharp - like a high-end race bike. The pink color and the name "Buttons" suggest it's intended for a girl, but the look of the bike suggests it's still relevant. Assembly was easy, although the writing in the instructions was too small for my elderly eyes. Took me about 20 minutes from opening the box to fully assembling and using. I used my own tools but the…

Good little bike for beginners

Got the 12 inch blue and white version from Revain warehouse. It was in used condition but "used" looked like someone tried to assemble it, got stuck, took stuff and sent it back. What I like: * The 12" size fits my almost 4 year old son who is about 40" tall. It can reach the ground comfortably when the seat is in the lowest position. This bike should last him about a year before he can hop on his brother's 16 inch bike.* It looks well made. It is difficult. The colors go well together and it…
