To paint. As a tie-dye artist, I rely on fiber content in photo descriptions for my business. This Christmas tree skirt was listed as cotton. When I received them I had a feeling this was not the case as the corrugated material was very stiff and resembled polyester. I also didn't expect the bottom to be made of impact material. I tried to paint one and the color came off immediately. In addition to false claims about fiber content, open batting will have a hard time withstanding many washes. Being white you will probably want or need to wash this skirt frequently.
