Works perfectly! - Power supply accessory
I needed a power source to power our satellite modem and security cameras in an off-grid building and didn't want to use our inverter. Using buck boards felt like overkill when I could just use these simple 12 to 48 volt SMAKN modules. I built the power supply using 12 x 48 and 12 x 12 so the voltage is correct whether the input voltage is above or below the 12 volt supply. The modem requires both 12 and 48 volts, while the camera system only uses 48 volts. I've had it up and running for a few days now and it seems to be working great.
